I might decide to place a small piece of netting over the holes if I notice wasps hanging around. Haven't seen any bird residents interested. It's such a pleasant site from our dining room window.

I have something simular however I have had to block the entrance, as we do have way to many wasps. The sealed entrance, I painted black. I love the kitty one... a little misleading :-)
