I have planted seeds for a orange butterfly bush but to no success. It has not sprouted at all and no signs of any popping up. I wonder why. They have been planted for months now.. ;>(

This is beautiful, just look at those butterflies,I have 1 large butterfly bush and 6 Dwarf butterfly bushes a mix of different colors and can't wait for them to begin to bloom. They are doing quite well except 2 of the dwarf they are still quite small I need some kind of fertilizer for them ,does anyone have a good tip for my BF bushes?

I have several Buddleia "Butterfly Bush" in my Arizona shade garden.  Black Knight and White profusion are my favorites.  I grew them in Tehachapi, CA and when I moved to AZ I had to have them here.  I am not a desert gardener and have struggled with the intense heat and growing the lovely flowering shrubs I was familiar with in California.  I have tried Rock Roses (Cistus) and Sun Roses (Helianthemum) and have struggled until I found the perfect spot...south facing wall under my queen palms.  They get a touch of early morning sun and shade all afternoon...with very little late afternoon/evening sun.  I see butterflies and hummingbirds flittering all around the entrance to my home.  Pure bliss...
