Thanks Rene! I grow from seed, and cuttings. To get the japanese bonsai type trunk you nust grow from seed. Very slow the first two years, but after that, they will take off. I sell them in the spring- fully rooted 3 year old plants, about 6-inches tall 8.99. Once in a while I will sell one of my lager specimens. The one in the dark blue pot with red flowers is also Desert Rose. Checkout ClassicPalms (Seller) on Ebay.

Hi Susie,
I was admiring your lovely pics and I saw this one, very nice. I thought is was a brug plant, but it says desert rose is that right? Or is that another name for a brug? I love those plants (brugs that is) with the huge trumpet shaped flowers, I know of a few gardens here on my block that have them in the summer months, cause I peeked over the fence and saw them..(sneaky me) anyway no one was home cause I was going to be brave enough to ask for a seed or cutting or whatever the produce. I think I might actually order a few this year from Select Seeds And Antique Flowers catalog, the price is 9 or 10 dollars for a 5 inch pot, I've always wanted to try them. I know they have to be brought inside for the winter in my fridgid zone but I bring in my Jasmine vines and Hibiscus flowers 4 big pots and my Passion Vines-2 of those, I might as well add a few more ha ha!
Cheers,
Rene~
