I bought these from a nursery so they are not wild.  they introduced this hybrid many years ago.  I have tried to transplant wild sage and it has not yet worked.  Hope this helps.

John,what exactly is Desperado sage? Just wild sage? I have been tring for years to propigate wild sage with no luck

"Hi Lorraine!  We haven't had that much snow this winter so far (knock on wood!)  But here is a picture of Parasol Lady taken on Christmas Eve a few days after we'd had a little bit of snow. Hope all is well with you. "
