No Baopa is an annual in our zones of 7 and 8. But ivy works good and another thing I like to use in the winter is parsley. Not only is it pretty but it is handy to use for garnish and cooking in the winter. It will last two years and then it finished but it is so easy to grow. I put daffodils in the bottom of my planters, then tulips between them and grape hyacinths on top and pansies and kale on top of all that. I don't think my planters are very deep. But they are the self watering ones from Gardner's Supply.

I know I am asking so many questions, but your pictures are beautiful! I put flower box on my deck railing they get a lot of sun but they are not very deep. I put Hyacinths in the bottom since they should only get 10" and pansies on top. I do love things that trail. Will Bacopa winter ok? I may half to put some small ivy in them.

The plant that is trailing down under the petunias is Bacopa, I think this is snowflake, I have also grown it in a pale lavender color but I think the white does better for me.

What is this plant with the small white flowers? Just under the petunias.
