Garden Wall

The first wall of my new garden is in!! This is the lower wall, and an interior higher wall will go up to about the level of the third step from the top of the stairs. I only stained the front of the porch because at first, that was all we were going to do.

I plan to put in Texas Native plants, especially for butterflies! The stone is Cherokee autumn blend, with extra chocolate on the house and the garden walls are Antique Pecan.. I should have included those specifics.. they are all (I think) sandstone varieties. There are moss boulders in the wall too. The large one in front here is a garden seat!

Wow pretty porch.... Love that Texas limestone. Funny that I click on this photo and I had just commented on the wildlife in your back yard. I was brought up in Houston & have good friends & family in Kerrville, & Spring Branch & Boerne. Guess that what drew me in. One of my best friends is a horticulturist & she use to have a nursery in Marble Falls, but since moved to California. Can't wait to see the finished gardens.
