I wonder why it's called "dry" stacking? People must have had steel biceps to be able to do this job!:):) No wonder Irish men are such hotties lol!:):)

ok changed it Catherine. :) I told hubby I would love that roof on our home. But most likely someone would toss a match on it. The little village is so quaint, another must see.

A great old Irish home.... kind of like living America in a Sod home way back when..... A good photo.... with allot of history.

Dry stacking is all but a lost art, such a shame too as they are amazing!

They are trying to re-produce them now for tourist attractions. But people and families did live in them years ago!
