Willis & Glenda - WOW!!! I am overwhelmed with your accolades showered my way for things that just come from the heart.  No one should ever feel bad as we are all graced with talents, some that may have not even been discovered or experienced yet...

Lila - Those are not 'Pink Tree Standards'...  Those are one tiered baskets filled with 'Raspberry Blast' Petunias.  The Cosmos are the dwarf variety.  I'm afraid a lot of watering goes hand in hand with container gardening.  The smaller the pot, the more it needs attention...

Mo Puff - It's been a long time since I've run across that photo and I too was shocked at the transformation.  A reminder for us what a difference we can all make :-)

I do believe Irma has more talent in so many areas than a human being should be allowed. It just doesn't seem fair for a person to be blessed with so much (art, gardening, crafts, you name it). Makes most of the rest of us look pretty bad. Sure glad she shares her creations with us though!

First Beans From Second Planting of Pole Beans

"Pole beans are so easy to grow! Just plop the seed in the ground and make sure they have something to climb on. This is a new variety I tried this year. I just love the apricot-colored blooms. (And the beans taste good, too!)"

Early Fall Color

"Correct, Keryn. No frost yet. We usually get our first frost in early November, although it wouldn't be too usual to get one towards the end of October."
