Desert bluebells (Phacelia campanularia) blooming in my garden. This easy annual plant provides masses of bright blue flowers in late winter and early spring. It self-sows (self-plants) too, with seed sitting dormant all summer and resprouting when temperatures cool off again in autumn. Wilson the tennis ball tucked in to show how large the blooms are. Eat your heart out, Lobelia, hah! :)
