Will these grow (primroses) in Miami Beach zn 10? Do they tolerate humidity? I've always loved them.

By the way, where in Texas do you live? My brother and his wife and family live in Granbury.

Hi Norma, The flowers edging my flower bed are English Primroses. They come in a large variety of colors including the red and yellow, also white, maroon, pink and mixed like red and yellow, white and yellow, light orange and yellow. I don't see why they wouldn't grow in Texas. They are perennial here, and the leaves stay green even under the cover of snow. They are the earliest flowers to bloom for me. I think they are one of the nicest plants I've seen. They multiply by divisions. One plant will become three or four or more in one season. These you see in the picture could be dug and divided many times each. I just haven't had the time to do it yet.
