My husband made this potting bench for me out of a pallet. Such a great way to recycle!

I just love it.... so neat. How many pallets did he use to make this bench and did he follow a pattern or make up his own?

Comment by Beth Knight on May 3, 2012 at 5:49pm there is a lumber place just up the road from me and they throw dozens away weekly. Anyone can just go get them....I think Lowe's and Home Depot throw them away...ask around at any place that uses them for transport and just ask.
Comment by Yvonne Martin zone 9a se texas on May 3, 2012 at 5:21pm Looks so great, I thin I want one but where does one find pallets? I only see them being used, hope this is not a stupid question, I'm new at this gardening and I want to do everything. How many pallets did it take to make your potting bench?
Comment by Beth Knight on May 3, 2012 at 10:07am very, very nice Susan...I use pallets in my attic to dry my gourds on. The slats give them some air so they aren't just siting directly on the floor. Great recycle.
Comment by kim thompson on May 3, 2012 at 10:06am love love...my husband is a carpenter, can't wait to show him..or maybe while he's on his fishing trip i'll tear up his wood shop and try it myself. Your husband did a wonderful job..functional and attractive
