Talavera dove pot terracotta donkey pot tennis ball patio March 2012

Just a couple of silly animal-themed pots. A brightly colored glazed Talavera style dove shaped pot with a small Haworthia attenuata in it, and an unglazed terracotta donkey pot with a white flowered crown of thorns Euphorbia in it. These are outside on my covered patio where they get winter sun and summer shade, and water once a week or so. Wilson the tennis ball perched in the pic to show relative size. Easy plants to grow and keep happy.

I think you need to draw a smiley face on your tennis ball.  It's starting to remind me of the traveling gnome :)

"Thanks Tammie, yes I like I like to color co-ordinate and the brighter the colors the better. The hardest colored plants to find are a true red, then the next hardest is a true blue. The red flower here is a geranium."

"No Matha not really, they both smell divine. It depends on your climate to which will grow the best. The ground growers like a very cold winter, the tree peony grow better for me in a warmer climate."
