Hi Shirley
Thanks for sending me a msg..and thank you so much..
I have both hibiscus trees and hibiscus bushes. I have to dig them all up in Nov and put them in my greenhouse. In April I put them out again..but they wont survive in the ground all year around. I have had the same hibiscus plants for 9 yrs...red,yellow,peach and hot pink. Red is my fav though. You can trim hibiscus as much as you want..When i move them the green house I cut them all the way to 4 inches above the ground, so you cant hurt them...i have to be careful not to get a high nitrogen fert on them because they will stop blooming and "green out"....

I really like the mailbox.. I am a mailbox person and this gives me a great Idea.. question.. I have this Hibiscus, I am not sure how to make it like this? I live in TX so it an annual for me, I have it potted. My neighbor has a wild mess of them. I think they come back for her, I am new in the neighborhood, I have seeds, have you had any sucess that way do you just keep trimming it?

Love your flower combination, it is beautiful. I miss living in Florida and being able to grow Crepe Myrtle, sigh....
