"AmyLynn - I found the label  for my yellow zygo poked into another plant when I was inspecting my mandarin seedlings!  It is called Gold Fantasy and really does resemble yours, but we can go with Swan Cactus like Bonnie suggested!"

Lavender

Posted on July 5, 2011 at 11:19am 1 Comment

Well, I've noticed one of my lavender bush's has been drying out. It was just alittle at first and seems to be more area now, but it is on one side of the bush, I've looked up information about this and read that was normal? I'm still not sure of that???? So I thought I would attempt to take some clippings and start new plants, part because it would be neat too, and second just incase this bush does die I can replace it. I've checked the ground several times, to make sure it's not to wet or… Continue

Okay it's sorta not far but I've been aways from here. This year has been so hard on our garden. First the winter didn't know when to let go so we jumped head on into spring before we realized it missing alot of potential planting. so somethings never made it in the garden and others aren't doing to well. Then our spring was cute short by this HOT! weather, so nothing is growing much to top it off we have been in a sever drought!

nikon coolpix p-100 it is a point and shoot type of deal- i did try a few other nikons- the slr kind- it was to much for my head to figure out which lens to use and why- not inot that kind of stuff- just want great photos & fast before my subject- jumps, creeps, flies, crawls or slithers away!  lololol  :)  although some of my other photos were taken on a kodak easyshare- those are great to if you just starting very cheap to by today, best bet is walmart.com if that is possible for you -my first nikon was $600 best buy store- after it got stolen {creep down stairs from me} i bought same one at walmart.com for $300 include shipping to.

I feel your pain.  I'm 1 1/2 hours west of you and have never seen it this bad.  If not the heat it's the grasshoppers here. History.
