"Hi Rebecca. It definately is not a Cotton Palm. It looks to me to be possibly Corypha utan which is native to Cape York and the N.T. Where was the photo taken?"

"As I am in the southern Hemisphere my Plumerias are actively growing and flowering at present. I live just south of the Tropic of Capricorn so cold and frost is not an issue but during the humid summers here we do get rust which has to be treated."
