When I spotted this lovely creature in the garden the other day, I promptly went off googling ‘butterflies’ and couldn’t come up with a match. I was thinking ... colourful, scalloped wings ... butterfly, right! Uh, uh! Thankfully my hubbie suggested I should search for a moth instead ……
Cyclone Number 3 Was A Doozy!

Some of you may be aware that Queensland, Australia has had its fair share of significant weather events already this year. 2011 has started with flooding across three-quarters of my home state and possibly the largest ever cyclone to cross our coast.

Queensland is my home state and right now Mother Nature is not being very kind to our wonderful corner of the world. The flooding that has occurred here is one of the worst disaster's in our state's history! It will take quite some time to recover from the devastation.

I hope you had a lovely christmas ours was a quite affair at my sisters. I have family coming down in feb for another wedding. They are flying and hiring a car down here.
