Thanks for the information.  I guess I need to start trimming it back in the fall or spring.  I have it on a trellis and it's growing like crazy.  I bought several plants until I finally got wisteria to grow.  I just love it.  I see it growing wild in the woods so I know what time of year it should be blooming.  I planted it 2 or 3 year's ago, can't remember exactly, so I'll try and be patient with it.  I guess it's the same as grape vines and I'm still waiting on those to produce.  I never gardened before until 2007 so I'm still a beginner.  I love this site and appreciate greatly any pointers I can get.  Thanks again.  Kathy Cross
