Birdie, you're so young you'll never retire!  Bob Fogel (Louisiana from Utah) fellow was a school mate in Oregon where we grew up by the way. He's an expert in fungi, etc...in case you need a fungi expert. Happy Gardening. Looks you had a great time in Hawaii - one of my more favorite places on earth. Not a big fan of Oahu but I do love all the other islands.

Have fun in Hawaii!  I haven't been since 2006, but we loved it!  Kauii (not sure if that's spelled correctly), was our favorite island.  All the ferns that just grow wild there amazed me.  I told my husband, we have to buy those, & they just grow everywhere here wild!  Make plenty of pics to show us!  I believe I visited every nursery & garden in Kauii & Mauii.  I brought home some plants & seeds. Yes, some of the plants looked like they needed deadheading, so I helped, even though if  they would have found the seeds, I would have had to pay a hefty fine.  They all grew for me, but the cold got the trees once I put them in the ground.  I should have kept them in pots. :(
