Birdie, you're so young you'll never retire! Bob Fogel (Louisiana from Utah) fellow was a school mate in Oregon where we grew up by the way. He's an expert in fungi, etc...in case you need a fungi expert. Happy Gardening. Looks you had a great time in Hawaii - one of my more favorite places on earth. Not a big fan of Oahu but I do love all the other islands.
Have fun in Hawaii! I haven't been since 2006, but we loved it! Kauii (not sure if that's spelled correctly), was our favorite island. All the ferns that just grow wild there amazed me. "Keryn I grow sorrel but I don't eat it since I don't like things that make me pucker. It goes in salads and anything else you like that tastes like biting into a lemon. Treat it like any other green. Put sorrel recipes into your search…"
"I planted carrot seeds in late Autumn and nothing happened. I thought you silly thing that was a waste of time when winter is coming. I went out to put some more in and theres heaps of tiny carrots up. HAPPY My days are growing longer again.…"
