Digging In The Dirt

I've been digging in the dirt since I was small. My first flower garden was a packet of Cosmos my mother gave me when I was ten years old. We lived on a place on top of the National Monument west of Grand Junction, Colorado. I got out and scratched out a square in that old red sandy dirt, planted and watered those seeds. I think every one of them came up. I was amazed because they were almost as tall as I was. I've been digging in the dirt ever since.

No the pond and Japanese structures are in the Japanese Gardens in San Francisco at the Golden Gate Park. My garden is the little garden pictures. I tried to separate them but being the computer wiz that I am, I haven't figured out how to do that. I did take the pictures though. Thanks for taking the time to take a look at them. The sun is shining today so I'm headed out now.
