"I am not sure what you mean by casting, because I am very new to concrete art, but I think I might be. I was planning on using an old plastic plant saucer as a mold to see how it works. Sticky contact paper is such a great idea!"

"You certainly can use me as a resource on your project - stepping stones are fun to do!! Are you planning on casting your pavers? The sticky shelf paper works on stepping stones too!"

Wow! Thanks for all your help! I hope I can use you as a resource on my project! Your mosaic is very beautiful. I am thinking about starting my adventures with concrete with some stepping stones. I am going to start on them when I return from my trip to Portland. Then maybe I will attempt to make my own bird bath as per your instructions! It sounds like a really neat thing to do!

Hi Carol, Actually we are closer right now than you think, I in fact live in Kent, but am in the process of moving to Fredrickson/Spanaway area to be close to my daughter, I am getting ready to retire also but I will be working from home for a while. I love gardening and it sounds like you've got yours cut out for you.
I am new to this site, but I think this will be so much fun being connected to people you have such a love in common. Thanks so much for being my gardening friend! Have a great day! TTYL, Sandy..
