Catherine, love seeing all of your flowers, and the pumpkin plant what is the secret I planted them last yr and something attacked the flowers. My 12 strawberries I let go for a day and they are all eaten. Not sure if the rabbits are eating them but something sure took them all. I just laughed and thought they have to eat too. Enjoy the day it is so beautiful here in New Jersey today. No need for the air condition Thank God!

Is the tree in your hot house a Japanese Maple,It is so pretty. I really like your garden boxes,My cousin changed to raised garden boxes a few years ago and she has a wonderful yield from her crops.We had so many green beans about two years ago she finally pulled up the plants ,she canned about 300 quarts and my sister and I canned about 21/2 bushels off the same plants,they were so good.
Catherine ,I hope I didn't offend you with my remark about the Blarney stone I was just trying to be funny.I did remember what I was trying to remember about the jewelry it was Connemara Marble I love it.I'm sorry I know this is GS but I just wanted to say this to you. Like I said before the potatoes are gorgeous my brother in North Dakota grows that kind of potatoes,we need to try them we have red clay soil that has to be amended with mushroom compost and fertilized some things grow well in it and some require some help.Hope all is well in Ireland,it is sunny and hot in North Georgia ,USA. look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Catherine how are you? Looking for advice here on Sweetpea I am growing at the moment from seeds .. lovely healthy sprouts now and I am concerned about the snails getting near them... do snails eat Sweetpea I don't want to put pellets down as I have pets .
