"I have on order, 20 bales of straw...this is my first tme doing this and am in zone3, so I figure I can cover the plants easier.  I also am disabled, and can't bend over in the "big" garden..we will use the damaged bales next…"

"I have a 14yr old comfrey plant that just keeps coming back year after year, I haven't figured out a use for it..isn't it also called knitbane?  how do I store this herb for winter use?  thanks for any help"

"grew up in the north but have been gardening in zone 5 for 10 years now....in Wisconsin...we are moving the garden to centeral Upper Peninsula..zone 4/3? I have to get used to the frosts up there once again and the deer/turkeys"

our garden has been done for a month or so now. it is tilled and ready for grass seed. we are moving it to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the spring. I will once again have to get used to late frosts and snow in June.we will be starting from scratch in what used to be our garden 12 years ago...wish me luckSee More
