Clare Frazeur commented on Garden-Share's group Water Gardens"I love to keep fish in my pond, but so do the racoons(Mother & 2 babies). Anyone have a good suggestion to keep them out of the pond? I finally ordered one of those animal repellers that is advertised on TV. Hope this will work."
Clare Frazeur replied to Doug Stuivenga's discussion Favorite Oregon Nurseries in the group Oregon"I haven't met a nursery yet that I don't love. In Grants Pass we have Redwood Nursery and Murphy Country Nursery. Both are medium sized with very good quality plants."

I once had a problem with "minks" who ate all of my fish 5 years ago...I used coyote urine all around the perimeter of the pond and NEVER had a problem since. It will keep away just about every predator around!
If you use it...be sure to wear a mask because the odor is disgusting.
