"We have 10 hens, a mixed flock 1yr old, and they are laying 4-7 eggs daily. Not too bad, especially since we are not using artificial lighting. But they are getting cabin fever, but no pecking so far. I tried to keep they happy with daily treats…"

Cynthia, I have been watching t.v. and I bet you are really cold and this winter is extreme.  Your pour rooster.  Last year, we had 1" of snow in S. Texas and I thought I would freeze.  I went outside with a broom to clean off my shrubs so they would not break.  That was all the cold that I needed.  It has rained all day today and my chickens have not come off the roost.  My horse looks like a wet mop and me and my 2 cats are on the sofa watching a movie.  Tomorrow will bring better weather.  What a woosey. heee
