Hi Deb, Nice to meet you.

Hi, Deb. Thanks for the ribbon. I love Stock, I just realized it hasn't been part of my annual display for a few years, so I will add it to my seed or plant order today. I agree, the fragrance is lovely. You have a creek in your yard? I am so jealous. I used to have 40 something Roses, but beautiful though they are I have just 6 now. They are just too time-prohibitive. Everything is totally organic here in my yard, and rinsing the aphids off with water every other day became just to much. So, I kept my favorites. Here in the Desert S/W it is hot and dry in Summer. We have had almost 0 measurable rainfall in the entire last year. I am replacing them with other beautiful flowering shrubs that thrive in the alkaline soil we have, and saving the extra water for my vegetable garden. Another part of caring for the Roses was that I constantly needed to make the soil more acidic. We both love Lilies I see, and pink is wound through the beds from your pics anyway. I believe deep pink is my favorite color for the garden. I use pastel and only pure white ~ cream color looks dirty here in this dry heat ~ to make the deep colors pop. Love Bee Balm too. By the way, how cold does it get where you are? And how long is your growing season?  Hope to hear from you, and hoping this post finds you well and happy, Marian

Hi Deb,  enjoyed your pictures!  You have a lovely yard!   We had 109 degrees here in MO today too!  Bleah!  My plants and I don't like it!

Hi Deb: Thanks for writing! Oh my gosh - I've waited and waited for someone near me who also loves gardening! YES, let's get together! I'd also love to see your gardens . . . they look lovely! This ridiculous heat is torturous to the gardens, as I'm sure you've noticed! Email me at masters430@gmail.com and we'll chat about when and where!

Hi, Deb.    Glad to have you as a GS friend.   You're a couple of zones cooler than I am.   We're hot (mid 90s) and very dry (negligible rain in 1 month) right now.
