What kind of gardening do you like to do?
Flower, herb, and house plants.
How much time do you spend a week on average in your garden when weather permits?
As much as I can, its therapy!
I have a small city lot. Most of it was grass when I started. Now most of it is flowers!
So far I have had a rabbit, skunk, woodchuck, honey bees, birds, moles, mice, an opposum, and ducks in my yard.

A friend of mine is a grower near Tulsa, in summer he hires temp. help. When the stapelias started blooming, he sent his help in the greenhouse to find that dead cat.

Greetings, Dee, from a gardener in central Oklahoma. Was admiring your pics. Your starfish plant is one of the stapelias, often called a carrion plant from the odor of the bloom. They come from a land that has no bees or butterflys to polinate, they attract green bottle flies looking for something dead to lay eggs on. A beautiful plant. I had one by my driveway that had 11 blooms at once, you could sure find it as you stepped out of the car.

Unknown tropical plant

"Interesting, may be a relative, since it has never bloomed.  The leaf in the pic is nearly 20" long on nearly a 3 foot stem."
