"Hi Donna I am going to have to try the Vitimin B6 for mosquitos. I have found the Berts bees brand mosquito repellant to really be better for me than the other Deet types. So much for that. Over and out! Deb"

"Hi Deb! I think it's colder by you. We have the large mosquitoes too. Try taking Vitamin B-6. They love me but not as much when I am taking the 100 mg a day. Have a nice evening."

"Thank you, Tracey! I like the idea of rocks in that spot. I love the birds but they do make such a mess!! I have a fountain that they love but I have to clean it everyday. I will definitely get going on that pond. Thanks again for the ideas!"

"Thank you, Deb! We had a fun day. No fireworks. Too many mosquitoes! Did it get cold your way? It did here so we stayed inside. The wind picked up around 4:00 and then it rained a little. Take care!"

Hello! I hope you're having a wonderful time in your garden!

I've been gardening for 15 years but still consider myself a beginner. I'm always learning new things in the garden. I enjoy spending time outside and keeping my Japanese garden looking "new." This year I'm trying a vegetable garden...again;-) Hoping to get a lot of tomatoes for my husband Larry. He loves his Grandma's tomato relish.

I'm also a mom of Michael, Kristen, JR and grandma of Bradyn and Cadance. I love and enjoy my family very much.

Right now we're getting ready for our annual Fourth of July Luau. Can't wait.

Hi Diana It was freezing here. I had to wear a coat to watch the fireworks. It rained some on and off all day on the 4th, now it is finally warming up again. This has been an odd summer for weather. The mosquitos are the size of frogs, well almost lol! I have several bites. They have always loved me and the bites swell up and are red for several days. I found some amonia based gel to help stop the itching. What a mess. Looking forward to chatting with you soon! Deb :)
