"Wow!  You do have some lawn to mow.  I like the way you made it look kind of like a golf course with that sand and all.  Now if you just had a putting green somewhere it would really look like one."

"Love your lupine.  I love them too, but I don't have this many.  You should go to the Fields of Lupine Festival in Sugar Hill NH in June - fields of wild lupine - gorgeous!"

Enjoyed visiting your garden today! Love the shed--too pretty to call a shed.

The beauty of photography is that I can crop out the unfinished/untamed/ungardened areas. Thanks for the recognition. I received a great camera for a birthday present a couple of years ago. I started taking pictures of the flowers because they sat still, unlike kids. For the deer I use an organic fertilize from Marvin's Organic in Lebanon, OH. When I start to see nibbles, I spray with Liquid Fence or Deer Off. I switch around based on what is cheaper, because the deer, I am told will get used to one spray and ignore it. I have also tossed Irish Spring soap bars in the worse of the beds. The deer tend to stay off my hostas. There is a dog in the back yard, on an invisible fence, so that might help. However, I never see a bloom on my daylillies. Just munched stems. A couple of neighbors feed them. As long as the cracked corn in plentiful, the deer leave me alone. I have been raided when the neighbor went on vacation. WELCOME TO THE SITE!

Thank you Gisela,
My wife and I love to play in it. Getting a bit harder every year to get up and down but we make it happen somehow. For the fun of it if you want, you can google "Frank Peterson's garden Tips" and see an article that I wrote that made it into Organic Gardening. It's mostly about the structure I built for composting, but never the less got published.
Oh sorry this took so long. Kind of forgot about this site until they found me on facebook.
