Enjoyed visiting your garden today. It's very lovely and well maintained. I lived in Cupertino 30 years ago. Surprised there's any open space left.

You have a beautiful garden Don! I have to show my husband your bridges because I need a couple of those. Not sure what I think about your pets though - especially the long slithery ones!

Wow, Donald, how did you get such a beautiful background? I didn't seen that in any of the templates. Did you Html a custom page? I love that backgroud photo. I saw your name in the Orchid group, which I just joined and didn't have the time for a comment. I'm out gathering groups of my interest.

You have pretty nice in laws . I don't think I can afford the couch to go with them. I saw one at an antique store that was all torn up for $5,000. When I saw these they had just come in the door and I thought the price was $2500 each. They told me they were only $250 and I went straight up to the counter and paid cash and threw them in the truck before some one realized that I had stolen them.
I live in the Bay Area (Cupertino, California) but I just got back from Texas. I visited my brother in Gilmer and my property on Lake Fork. I am sure you know where that is, I have about 5 acres water front counting the lease back. It's about 70 miles east of Dallas.
I watched for the Bald Eagles while at Lake Fork but did not see any. I do love the wild life Gardening, Rocks , trees and water. I do love Orchids it just takes so much time and my hobbies are all over the place so I have a hard time settling down enough for Orchids.

Unk,
Yes this is the same native type dogwood that I sent you. I would estimate it to bea minimum of 25-30 feet tall.
This is how they can get if not too crowded. I do have pictures of the other type but I'll have to find them. I may have to try and get some new pics.
