"Scott,  I don't cut it back each year.  It stays the same.  Will lose leaves in winter, and the stems will grow a bit bigger,  and come spring it re-leafs out.  No blooms ever produce.  I live in South Alabama if…"

"Looks also like it could be a Dichroa. That's in the Hydrangeacea family, but is a different genus then Hydrangea. Interestingly several folks are trying to cross them which would be interesting. Dichroas put out metallic blue berries after…"

Bought this several years ago at nursery.  Was told it was hydrenga.  But has never bloomed or anything.  Does anyone know what it is?See More
