I am originally from Bay Shore, Long Island (grew up about 40 minutes away from Manhatten) then moved to california for about 11 years and now live in Iowa.
I really like the Mid-West- it's very relaxing- plus there is more land- I will be posting more photos of our new expanded garden. We went a little crazy with the tiller this year!

"Interesting, may be a relative, since it has never bloomed. The leaf in the pic is nearly 20" long on nearly a 3 foot stem."
