Here it is 3rd week of August and I have thoroughly Enjoyed a happy gardening season!! I did the best to keep my gardens florishing all though we had some very warm/hot days. My vegetable gardens have bumper crops. I took some to the senior center. Wish it would cool off..les. I spend yesterday figuring out what I would like to change and I think I finally decided on which one to redo..

2011 English Garden

In 2009 I began my English Garden. I was fun seeing it mature. Last year due to health issues I was not able to spend time with my gardens. In was only able to maintain them. Progress has been made to my english garden.. Two of my baby roses bloomed. Also added some plants to fill in. I think as it get established it will get better.

This is a work in progress. I put in larger plants. I will plant flower seeds for other flowers.. Will keep you posted!!!

For as long as I remember, I always wanted a english garden. As a result of removing one of our large trees, I now have an opportunity to put one in. So a few weeks ago, I spent many hours looking at various English Garden ideas and designs. I know many of them are square and very large, but I knew that I did not want a very large one since I like to have various types of gardens, I decided to put in a round garden. YUM> or you can pickle,look on internet for recipes. i have hot beet soup recipe if you'd like. let me know.
