Hi Regina, It hasn't happened to me but I have read that the juice can cause a reaction. I was thinking about trying to grow some differnt types. Hearing abut your experience well, I just may stay away from this plant. I hope you fully…
Hi Edward, Those are some beautiful plants. I haven't seen any info on using GA-3 with Fringed Gentian. I did see some Gentiana crinita seeds on Amazon that are not too expensive. I wouldn't mind trying to see if I could get some going in…

Frankco, thank you very much. I'm not sure I can do that with this Hydrangea as it's got a patent...go figure...patenting plants...but I'll try the solution you suggest. Thanks again.
Frankco, I agree, that normally works. I've propagated dozens of different hydrangeas that way. I don't know why this one is unique but it just won't take that way. Need a different approach for it.
Frankco, I have a very hard to come by Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Brunette') and I have been unsuccesful in propagating it from cuttings. It's big enough to where I might try layering, but not overly optimistic. It's only sold at one nursery, I want 3 more but they charge a lot for this Hydrangea due to it's rarity and difficulty in propagating. Advice?
