Hi Sandra I cant get enough of bee balm... I have red and light purple in 1 group then I have another red only, then theres Coral Reef (hot pink) georgeous! then there is petite marshall, grows maybe knee hi and is a purple color! I love this stuff…
What a lovely home...and great area for planting...what fun that would be. Lots of good ideas have been place here for you to go by..driving around your area is a great way to find out what grows well ...don't hesitate to stop and ask…
Tell me about bee balm... Planted 5 plants years ago, it started to spread, so I moved it here and there in my garden, Yesterday, I had to go out and just pull up a lot as it is overtaking some of my other plants...Too bad I can't find anyone…
Beautiful home. You have great bones for your garden. start with hostas & lilies and keep adding. Take a trip to nursery and look at what attracts you. You will change flowers multiple times until you approve and are happy. You can also drive…
These are 2 sittes, try them. Yours looks more like the rudbekia to me or a wee. But, the way it is in your garden...?
I would leave it a bit longer and see if it blooms. If you like it leave it. If you don't, or if it doesn't bloom pull…
Hi Greg....maybe you know by now what your mystery plant is.....tho' similiar I do not believe it is Monarda (beebalm, bergamot) a member of the mint family, Rudbeckia, or Dahlias. Dahlias need to be lifted before winter freeze, and I believe…
No sniff yet but I will. Those red aphids hang out on the stems. Applied the sevin and it appears it didnt shoo them away or kill them. Will try the soapy water technique and see what happens.
Been so damn busy I cant spend the time that I want…
Well fine then, "Greg". IDang, you people just can't never get ya'lls names right........for pete sakes (nah, just kiddin). But I can't believe that you had a high of only 71 degrees! That's a good thing, right?. It was roughly about 82 today, but it's been very nice over the weekend. Windy and sunny, which would have been a bad time to be one the lake, but a great time to camp!
Okeedokee, I'm getting ready to upload some pictures I took at my cousin's house this afternoon (I think they turned out pretty good...pat, pat, pat). Oh yeah, I went to a National Championship Little League game this Saturday. A friend of mine, her grandson was playing. It was a ton of fun...even though they got the beat-down! It's was sad......the other team was from St. Petes., FL; and from what I heard, they were the World Champions (if there is such a thing). I had a ball and acted a fool.
Well, sorry for asking you "again" just exactly what type of work you do. Thanks for the comment on my flowers........you really think so? But I've only been gardening (or flower-stuff) for about 5 years now. I've always liked and did a pretty good job on my indoor plants (at least I think so).
So your in Jekyll Island, huh? Man I bet it's hot down there. Hey, let me just say sorry if I was being too forward about you being really cute......I wasn't trying to be fresh. Just trying to meet others with the same interest.
Okeedokee, Mr. Grey....stay cool and have fun at your daughters game(s).
No doubt........he's a cutie! Why don't you have any information on here? Like what type of "gardening related business" are you in? Or any pictures of work that you may have done..........just curious!
