Hope,

I have been gardening now for about 30+ years. I always admired the neatness of the garden that my grandfather maintained. Neat rows of lettuce and onions. Each vegetable in its place! When we bought our home several years ago, I started by putting in daylillies as well as roses. Then I also built elevated box gardens for vegetables. Also I created a grape trellis.
I really enjoy the planting part of gardening. It must be the need to break away from winter, but I am not as good about the weeding. Best regards, Tom

Hope,

Thanks for the nice complement. I notice that you live in York, Pa. Several years ago I did a residency at York Hospital. You live in a beautiful city! The city of the white rose, I believe. Although I lived downtown near the hospital at the time, I house sat at an exquisite home outside the city for the owner that also had a summer home in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. Some of the houses and their gardens in York are simply beautiful.

Again thanks for the complement.

Thanks for the reply Hope. And thanks for the comment on my pictures. My garden is small compared to yours but it's usually more than my wife and I can use. We share with the neighbors and friends and esp. with our daughter and her family who live about 50 mi. from us in Bryan, TX. I finally got drip irrigation in about 90% of my veg. garden and my new butterfly garden. I'll be taking a few pics of both soon and will try to post some on my page and elsewhere.

Hope, you've been hiding - must be busy on the huge garden you're attending to. Is that your property, a business property or what? Your pictures make me think you're more of a farmer than a gardener!
