Iris.....do ye have as much rain up there in Kells as we have down here in Cork??
If you don't..I have barrels full for free, you just have to pay for shipping....LOL!

Hello Iris....
I am not too well up on flowers, but I guess sweetpea are similar to veggie peas. If you cannot use slug pellets, you can use broken eggshells which I mix with human hair cuttings.The slugs would stick to the hair. I used this around my peas and did not see any slugs. There are also beer traps....sink the cut off bottom of a plastic soda bottle and fill with any beer.Bury them to ground level around your sweetpeas and slugs will drown happy..LOL!
