Your photos are great!! I had looked at them before somehow and remembered some of them. I of course LOVE that you include wild violets in your beds -- they are so pretty. It looks like you have a lot of land to garden. (and I envy your lilac -- we have blue clay soil, and use raised beds -- but I have begged two lilac bushes to not give up the good fight in the clay for three years now, and they just don't seem to be able to do too well....)

We have had a glorious few days after a really long cool rainy stretch.

Janet, That was taken last spring. This spring it didn't even have one bloom. Maybe you are right about it needing a rest this year. I love all your pictures and envy those rocks. Gorgeous!

sorry, haven't got back to you sooner, I don't use tripods often, except in studio. I use a close up lens, which enables me to get that close and still focus. Or I like a telephoto/zoom to get close up at a distance if I have the light.

Hi - the butterflies at the feeder were in the Meijer Botanical Gardens butterfly exhibit last month - I wish I had such a collection in my yard!

I love your photos!

I don't even remember planting it - but it's spread over a large area and i love it - it's low, chokes out weeds and doesn't have to be mowed - woo-hoo!
