Weird Little Shrubs

I wish I knew the species of shrub located to the left of the black van. They produce little yellow flowers, and have prickles.

Winter koi pond

Black Swans at the Lake - Centennial Park

"I have never seen such lovely swans.  We have the white variety with the red beaks in Alaska.  Do they mate for life, and nest in isolated pairs as well? "

Seventy-five knots winds are blasting through the neighborhood.  My beloved bear proof container, which has withstood countless bear mailings and chinooks has been blown completely apart.   I guess we have no other choice but to hole up in the house with hot cocoa and warm dogs.See More

Seventy-five knots winds are blasting through the neighborhood.  My beloved bear proof container, which has withstood countless bear mailings and chinooks has been blown completely apart.   I guess we have no other choice but to hole up in the house with hot cocoa and warm dogs.
