Welcome to GI we have alot of fun on this site, and I've met alot of wonderful gardeners in the process. I'm originally from Northern Il. I've worked in South Elgin installing a new water distibution system at the State Mental Health Facility so I'm familiar with the area. I've lived in western Il. for the last 6yrs since I retired and have enjoied the coutry laid back life style. Happy gardening
