- I am an Art therapist for the elderly and the large garden is where I work. We have a Tai Chi instructor, music therapist, and nurse along with volunteers. The Tai Chi instructor is also a Master Gardener. We all work in the gardens because we truly believe that our surroundings effect all areas of health in our lives. The elderly so often become housebound and their health deteriorates fast after it happens. We are funded through self pay and grants from the Area Agency on Aging in West MI. and a couple of others. My personal gardens at my home in the city are the smaller ones in my albums. Thank You for appreciating our labor of love. None of us could possibly afford the larger establishment on our own but certainly enjoy what we accomplish through joint effort and the generosity of others. The property use to be where the cloister nuns, in the area lived and the garden area was a grave yard.

"Thanks girls! There's a lot of wire holding it together. My son say's it's a funny tree and my Grandson loved helping wire it together. We made some good memories during the process."
