"I live in an area where we have many granite companies.  I stop by and they give me whatever scraps I want large and small, usually smooth and pretty, irregular shapes and sizes.  Costs me nothing. They can't use it."

"I have use slate and old use bricks. They can stay all winter long and during the spring here if they move a bit addmore dirt around the area. It sops most of the grass from coming up  love it"
