Hmmmm...so y'all are having a stormy day, too, huh? We got 'em around 4 this afternoon. Kind of stinks because we were busy planting around that giant oak tree...trying to get it looking pretty for our wedding. But, the plants are happy and I get to take a break. So, it's not all bad. Love the new profile picture!

Awww, heck! Honestly, I had forgotten all about Grandpa's tomato seeds! I will get them planted this weekend and see if they do anything. That would be so cool!

I'm sure they will do fine. In a different picture on my page is me in front of what we call the "lilly row", which is the original place I planted them 13 years ago and is the property line between our yard and our neighbors'. Over the years we have made the row longer and I transplanted the ones in the picture you commented on in the "fence row" from the lilly row. They are very easy to grow, I'm sure you'll have no problem. I have some purple irises also that I got from a girlfriend in exchange for hostas. In fact I need to contact her about getting some more irises. Enjoy!

Hi JoEllen. The daylillies along the privacy fence face southeast. They get full sun morning through noon then afternoon/evening they are shaded by the fence. I took a few 13 years ago from our old house and they multiply very rapidly. Every year there are more and more! Thanks for your comment.

Oh yeah...you need to put up a pic of some of your container gardens for your profile. I know you have some great ones!

Hey, Sis! Glad you joined! I have gotten a lot of feedback from people here and enjoy looking around at what everyone is doing with their gardens. Miss you all already! Love you bunches!

"Hi Cindi, glad you like them, but oh no. Most Bowling balls are much too heavy for me. I use those big foam balls from the craft store. Much lighter and easier to work with, and you can stick things in them. Put on a coat of adhesive grout…"
