Hi John, I moved to Black Mountain about a year ago, there are many events going on here... I still don't think I even know half of them yet. It's a very nice town. The handful that I'm aware of seem to be geared towards the people having a good time in a mountain town, I'm sure you had a memorable exxperience.

Hey John How do you id. your hostas. I have some and I have a hosta book with photos, but I am never sure what is what. I need to keep track with better markers. Just love hostas... Deb

Hi John,
Yes, the artworks are my creations and they are for sale. Most are made of cement (heavy) some of resin. Good weather, it's outdoor sculpture time, while cold/rainy days find me in front of the computer doing digital art.

Enjoyed viewing your photos, I like how your page is set up. You have some wonderful flowers, love the shade garden. Thanks for the camera advice. My sister-in-law lives in Crestwood, are you anywhere close to that area?

Hi John Oh, you sound like me, I am always digging around to see if there is anythign I can "save" that has been discarded plantwise. I am not familar with Stained Glass. I will have to look it up. It sounds lovely. I need to separate my hostas so my back area will appear fuller. I better get with it now. My girlfriend and I shop together for them and she always plans to give me starts from her garden for those plants I didn't get. She owes me big time! The only problem we aren't very good at marking them and then forget who has what, lol. Good chatting with you. Deb :)

John...I planted the hakonechloa grass in July of '07 after the patio was installed. It's still fine, relative in size, as far as my garden is concern. I do have a big tendency to plant my perennials close together...if you have concerns, you might want to give this grass more generous spacing. I tried to upload a different photo for you within this comment box...it didn't work...I'll add it to my other photos.

Yeah Thank you I had been hoping someone would help me out. What I ended up doing is taking it into moviemaker and compressing it to less than 100mgs and then uploaded it. I came out a little blurry but it worked. I will try the utube way next time. Thanks for the invite. I look forward to getting to know you. Again love the Hostas.
