Clematis wilt

Its a fungal thing spread by spores from alot of wet weather and the plant twining to close and making a big display, it is not a thing that attacks the roots but drastic measures await the gardener. It is a thing that cuts off water from it main roots and one day it looks sick, but there is a way to prevent and cure this. 1st as soon as you notice the main stems getting a reddish tint on them its time to go to work, so lets get to work now by cutting off all infected canes to the ground.
