I am recently retired, and find myself with the time to finally get out in the yard and work on some long dreamed about projects. One big problem is not knowing where to begin. I start on one thing, then see something that needs to be done first, so I feel like I'm running around a lot and not getting much accomplished. Judy, Look for your county extension office and ask it they have a Master Gardener program. Our classes start in January or February, go for 40 hours to about May. I joined MG with retirement in mind. I am still working but at the time I joined I was recently divorced, looking at an empty nest and needed to find new friends. My network is huge now!
