Early Summer in Tiny Town

I find myself far far away from the world of Garden-Share.
There is so much to do outside. Okay, okay, there is so much to do INSIDE, as I have been neglecting everything for the tending of the garden. After work, it's all about slapping a quick dinner together for the kids then tossing on the garden clothes and heading outside.
Like many in the USA, it's HOT here in West Central WI. Furnace-draft hot, today. There is no rain in sight for at least another week, and I fuss…

There is perhaps nothing more comforting than the universe swiftly acknowledging a desire.
We're finally in the last lonely dregs of winter here in upper Wisconsin. Mother Nature is finally throwing off winter's thick white coat, showing her bruised and battered skin beneath - waiting for time and the powerful sun to heal and make her beautiful again.
I walked a circuit around my yard, visiting all of the areas I lovingly and painstakingly planted and prepared what seems like…

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, my main computer is a MAC - didn't see a compatible option on paint.net. But I'll keep it in mind when I purchase my next PC!

Gloria Zelazny said… - Your photos are great! Thanks for the comment on the Dahlia. Part of the proceeds from the sale of Dahlias went to breast cancer research. There were 3 roots I planted and 2 came up. I did not realize that they could not winter over in the ground, so hopefully I did eveything right and they will come back this year. If they don't regrow , well then I will plant some zinnias. : )
