What kind of gardening do you like to do?
perennial family gardening
How much time do you spend a week on average in your garden when weather permits?
every moment I can! 40 hours plus

I am a perennial gardener.  It has been my passion for many years now.  I raised a large family on Howling Wolf Lane in Wasilla, Alaska.  With only one acre of land, I concentrate on family gardening for PLEASURE.  The moose eat the vegetables, so I have concentrated on perennial plants.  I build my gardens around our life.  Somewhere in my study of plants I discovered many of my perennial flowers are herbs.  I quit making lists of plants years ago, I have too many varieties.  I have also sold perennial plants in my neighborhood to help fund my garden adventures.  It is winter now and I am cooped up and looking at seed catalogs.

Welcome to Garden-Share! You might want to start by checking out the Group page for garden-related groups and topics you may be interested in. Joining a few groups is a great way to meet other gardeners and get started on Garden-Share.

Then please participate! Groups are the best places to ask questions and share your knowledge about gardening.

Also, there are Videos to watch (how-to, humor), Blogs to read (informative, entertaining), Photos to look at (beautiful, unusual, inspiring), and new friends to meet. If you have more photos (or videos) of your plants or garden, please share them - I'd love to see even more of your great photos!

PS - If you have a photo that you could use as your profile photo, please upload that, too.

Again, welcome! :)
