"Yes, my soild is very sandy and alcaline. So I chop for example apple peel, citrus fruits peel, eggshells and tea bags and coffe grind. Works here since we have a hot climate. "

Gardening with all natural products/household left overs

I am having a lot of fun using household throw outs as egg shells, coffee grinds and old tea bags into my landscape. As we do have very high alcaline soil I supplement with lemon, orange or lime peels, chopped in pieces after I squeeze the juice out!
