My Mom uses dish soap and water in a spray - have you tried that?

Wow Kely,
You have flowers in your garden I have never seen before! They are the most unique flowers I have ever seen. Your doing great thngs in Ashland! My garden is too small to advertise. I am a first timer and just trying to learn the difference between a pperennial and an annual...LOL. It will be years before I catch up to you. Work keeps me away from the vegetable and flower gardens that I tend to. Hope to get back and visit your page soon for some great ideas.

Hi - so nice to meet you! Love your photos!

The butterfly photos were taken at Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI - they have a huge glass conservatory with butterflies hatching in March and April.

I don't have a lot of luck with melons - last year and the year before I had 2 sugar baby melons, but I'm trying again this year - never give up! lol

"Did you know? . . . The Cashew nut grows on a large tree, Its pod is at the end of a juicy fruit, encased in a softer pod. When the pod is roasted, the nut is removed and ready to eat."

Surviving Winter '14

"Thankfully, winter was warm for us this year. We had only a few days in the 50's for the high, and no lower that 40 for low, so the plants fared well."
