Here is what I have chosen - if you have grown these and have any helpful hints (I have never grown roses) PLEASE share!
hellebores, arum, polemonium, black eyed susan, aster, pincushion, tatting fern, aruncus, lavender, coneflower green envy, daisy, verbusun, scabiosa, sea holly, rudebecia, gallardia, daylilly, coral bells, geranium, meadow rue, russian sage, hellinum dwarf, chinese lantern, lupins, asclepias butterfly, tall phlox, roses: blue girl, lavender mini and Josephs coat.

You have flowers in your garden I have never seen before! They are the most unique flowers I have ever seen. Your doing great thngs in Ashland! My garden is too small to advertise. I am a first timer and just trying to learn the difference between a pperennial and an annual...LOL. It will be years before I catch up to you. Work keeps me away from the vegetable and flower gardens that I tend to. Hope to get back and visit your page soon for some great ideas.

The butterfly photos were taken at Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI - they have a huge glass conservatory with butterflies hatching in March and April.
I don't have a lot of luck with melons - last year and the year before I had 2 sugar baby melons, but I'm trying again this year - never give up! lol
